I personally am 13 and I completely understand why your kids might want to stay home. Its not that I don' like trying new things, but I just am usually happy with how I am already. However, when I try something new, I usually get something out of it because I know if I like it or if I don't like it. I think you should take them with you and if they don't like it, go without them next year. They won't know until they've tried. They might regret it later when they hear about all of their friends going to the beach and they didn't. You'll never know until you try!

While Golden Feather so glad someone else has ask this question. I find it to be very disrespectful to the people that took the time to answer. Some people want something for nothing, some know that if there is no best answer they get their 5 points back. Some say I don't know how to choose best answer (BULL) its self explanatory. A writing disorder? or something?

I think there's something wrong with me, when im writing sometimes, it seems to be getting more frequent, ill write the second letter in the word first or sometimes even the third. Like ill be in the middle of a sentence and try to write the word "whatever" but ill start with the h and then have to squeeze the w in there. Is this dyslexia or something? Ill do it with numbers too like in 13 ill write the 3 down first without even thinking about it and then have to go back

Is there anyway to know whether or not the court will drug test me after my marijuana charge is expunged?

If being familiar with the court helps, it's in New Rochelle, NY. I'm 16, and was arrested for unlawful possession of marijuana (it was a misdemeanor i think). The judge decided to expunge the charge from my record or adjourn the case permanently, I'm not sure. But, this isn't happening until this Friday (the 6th of February). I went to a recommended counselor for a couple of weeks in between proceedings, who wrote a letter to the judge saying that, after proper evaluation, I didn't have a drug problem. I just want to know the likelihood of being drug tested this upcoming week.

I am a member of an online dating site . I often get obvious form responses from "women " encouraging me to check them out at an " adult personals" forum. It's , of course, spam. I now recognize the form letter and avoid. I have also gotten responses from women (nearly always an obviously professional photo of a strikng woman) who write in terrible broken english and use words that are just not right in context. Awhile ago me and my bf were going to go to a baseball game on a friday. I woke up early that day and had a missed call and vmail from him. I was going to run errands so I didn't call back or listen to the vmail. I just texted him while on errands and we didn't really text about anything just small talk. Replace 98 Blazer starter solenoid?

I'm thinking I have a bad starter solenoid in my 98 blazer. Good battery, even tried to jump it just in case. When I turn the key there is a solid click noise but nothing else. Good power, radio works, lights work etc. I had the same issue on a riding mower and it ended up being the starter solenoid on that. Granted, it was much easier I presume to change it out on the mower. I haven't the slightest idea of what I would be getting myself into with the car. Can anyone give me a how-to on getting to and changing the starter solenoid on a 98 Blazer for someone who doesn't know technical terms? ...who considers themselves a self-proclaimed Christian but when not in church they drink, smoke, have premarital , curse, etc? I find it hilarious, yet disturbing, to hear all these people (and from a dating perspective, this applies directly to women) who make this claim but live the life of a heathen. I am by no means a Christian. I believe in God but that's about the extent of my Christian beliefs. What I do believe in is abiding by moral values that one declares to have. Unfortunately, in today's society this sentiment doesn't seem to be shared by many, esp. 20 and 30-somethings (I'm in this age group and live in the Biblebelt). That being said, if you are one of these types, a response is not required from you. I do understand no one is perfect and that we all make mistakes (which is why Christians pray for forgiveness), but *choosing* to go out and sin...repeatedly...is a totally different story. If I have difficultys with the contents of the bible being accurate, how do I no that Jesus is the son of God?

I have been a christian for many years, and I have just 'felt" in my heart that the bible was true. But recently I have really been thinking about how men in the corrupt church in the past have used the scriptures and had the power to change them for their own benefits. Coloring hair after chemo?

My mom finished chemotherapy at the end of the summer, and she has about an inch of hair grown back. The hair is very fine, almost fuzzy, and has some gray patches, same as she had before. She wants to color it to cover the gray, but doesn't want to use permanent color. Is there a good semi-permanent hair color that would cover the gray, and not damage her delicate new hair? Thanks!

I know that, in Spanish, an adjective normally goes after the verb it describes, for example, "los ninos feos" or "los gatitos bonitos." But I have also seen people use "feos ninos" and "bonitos gatos" in a sentence. Does that change the meaning of the adjective when you do that or does it not matter? Also, I looked up "bad breath" in Spanish, and it seems that it is said "mal aliento." Why would it not be "aliento mal?" Puss/Clear fluids coming out of my scar?

I ruptured my achilles and had surgery almost about 6 months ago. I have been doing fairly well up until about 3 days ago when my scar was very sensitive to the touch. One spot has technically never fully closed up. It had bleed a little about 2 months ago but very little. Last night I noticed that clear liquid was coming out (very slowly) I put pressure on it and puss started to come out. I iced it and tried to push the puss out. I don't know if that was a good idea or not, but it feels better. I could barely walk last night it was hurting so much. My husband's youngest brother, who is 45, is living with his mother. I know, he's a real loser. Anyway, he divorced 6 years ago and brought his two kids to live with his mother so he could have someone to take care of him. He's real lazy also. His poor mother is in her 70's and having to take care of everything around the house, since none of them will do anything. He is such a pain in the tail that no one else in the family can put up with him. He whines, cries, pouts, complains, and then acts like he's an authority on everything. The problem is no one in the family will hardly go over to his mother's house because no one wants to see or listen to him. I feel sorry for my mother-in-law, although she has brought this on herself. She is pretty isolated, unless she gets up and goes somewhere. Is there any solution to this? You could try that, but I doubt it would really work well. The best thing to do is move the colt to a friend's house or perhaps board him for a month at another barn. Then you should be able to put the two back together. It's harder to wean (and more stressful) if the mother and baby can hear each other (they'll call back and forth and be distressed).

Im going with Greg Maddux. While both pitchers have had wonderful careers in the majors, I will give the slightest of edges to Maddux. I have to admire a guy who has such command of his pitches and does not throw very hard. While Pedro was bringing heat, Maddux was putting nasty movement on his pitches. That's why today Martinez has lost a lot of the velocity and stays injured, while Maddux still has movement on his pitches and is a reliable pitcher in the rotation. What can I do about my mom?

This town has mainly family businesses, so there are only a few jobs available. In the reccession, the local factories laid people off, and it really hit hard here. That means that even now, stores and fast food restaurants are laying people off and cutting hours. This means that to earn gas, I chauffer my family around since only I have a license. My mom doesn't have a car or a license. At 6:30 in the morning, I was rudely awaked by angry people, and everyone is running all over the house trying to find the keys to MY car. I was forced to help look. I never found them. After Mom went and arranged another ride to work (even though she only works less than walking distance from here and it was a nice day), and since I had woken up more and gained a sensible train of thought, I found the keys. I had put my pants on top of a pile of stuff, and the keys slipped out of my pockets and fell to the bottom of this stuff, which everyone else had supposedly already looked through. Of course, Mom blamed me for hiding the keys. So all that day she had me go all over town, running back and forth to several places several times and even go several blocks out of my way to go see Christmas lights. The whole time the tank had less than an eigth left. I kept saying to Mom that we were about out, but she wouldn't give me the money. Later, when we got home, she said she wouldn't let me have any because I quote "hid the keys" from her. Finally, my friend offered me $10 to take him somewhere, so me and two other friends piled into the car and headed to the station. Two blocks away, the car sputtered to a halt in the middle of an intersection with an suv behind us. Oh joy. So as we pushed it the rest of the way to the station, we ran over another friend's foot, and also got attacked by the elderly. All because of Mom. She still expects me to drive her around, even though she won't get me any gas. She got me power steering fluid and fuel treatment, but won't get gas, or just give me money to get gas. What can I do about her? It's not like I can just leave her to walk, because when my dad was driving her (before I got my license) she did pretty much the same thing to him and then when he tried to stop taing her places she went around telling people lies about how much of a jerk he alledgedly is, refusing to take her places without demanding "outrageous" monetary compensation for gas. Half the town (small town, word flies) hates his guts. I don't want that happening to me.

What is the most rewarding part of being a physical therapist?

I am not a PT, but I am a PTA (Physical Therapist istant) so I do a lot of the same things treatment wise as a PT can do. I decided to go into physical therapy as my career because I had PT when I was in high school and saw how much it helped me. The best part is just helping people get their quality of life back, doing things as simple as just walking or standing that a lot of people take for granted everyday. In PTA school it really hit me even during just practice in cl when we were learning gait training (teaching people to walk) just how rewarding it truly is.

How can growing the same crop repeatedly on the same field deplete the soil?

It requires nutrients to grow... nitrogen, phosphorus, water, oxygen, iron, etc and these get used up especially if you are growing the same thing since it needs the same nutrients.

Will my 7 month old maine coon ever be nice to my maltese puppy?

I got my puppy on thurs. besides him being very very sick he is 100% better now. My maine coon kitty has not gotten used to him at all. He swats him & bites him even when I am holding the puppy. After the protected incident (fri), I took a plan B within the 72 hours (mon), and waited for a week since taking the pills. I felt nausea the day after and minor stomach cramps. I have not seen any noticeable spotting and this has caused much concern because its been more than a week. My period is normally due for the 17th (in about 5 days, so almost two weeks after taking the pill) but im nervous all in all. I got a little Main Coon x Norwegian Forest 4 weeks ago who is now 10 weeks old. She was the most loving cat I have ever seen, always snuggling under my chin, licking and purring or getting carried about like a baby. She was so friendly it was brilliant. I decided to get her a little friend for when Im out at work so I bought a 13 weeks old male Ragdoll a few days ago (neutered). They seem to be getting on a little better today, chasing each other about (her more than him) but they are still hissing and growling at each other. I have no idea what i should wear to my junior high dance! i am in 8th grade. Cracked Transmission? HELP!!!!?

I have a 94 mk3 jetta 2.0 - 5spd. I recently put it into 1st and began to drive off when seconds later i heard a loud clanking noise. I immediately began to loose oil but not from the oil pan. It was leaking from a nice size crack in a casing on the drivers side where the left axle goes into. You didn't give details about where your mom and stepdad are at until 11pm at night but now that the holidays are here you probably would be expected to do more while they are at work. uming thats where they are at (?)..So deal with that as best as you can but here's what I would do in the future...get other activities going. School things, scholastic things, sports, projects, more time with friends. Even if you have to fake some of it just to get some time to yourself. You staying up dealing with adult things to 11 PM is not right. Where are your parents at that time? Remember this; you are not responsible for your mom and step dads problems. I would try to help with the younger kids but if they are going to put that kind of responsiblity on you then you make sure the kids are in bed earlier. Have the 7 year old help you with the 4 year old and you take care of the 2 year old. For now. I would try to get ahold of your real Father and start to work on developing a relationship with him. Don't expect much but just begin trying to see if there is a way you can spend more time with him. It appears your mother is out to lunch on what this is doing to you... and your older sister...has mentally checked out which is why your parents don't bother with her. Lastly, you are a sweet girl and really care about people, I can tell. Your situation with your parents divorce and the choices your Mom has made is affecting you but one day you will be old enough to make decisions of your own. Don't let your mother, your stepdad, your siblings or anyone tell you that you owe them anything in life or that you can't make it in this world.
