Could you date someone...?

...who considers themselves a self-proclaimed Christian but when not in church they drink, smoke, have premarital , curse, etc? I find it hilarious, yet disturbing, to hear all these people (and from a dating perspective, this applies directly to women) who make this claim but live the life of a heathen. I am by no means a Christian. I believe in God but that's about the extent of my Christian beliefs. What I do believe in is abiding by moral values that one declares to have. Unfortunately, in today's society this sentiment doesn't seem to be shared by many, esp. 20 and 30-somethings (I'm in this age group and live in the Biblebelt). That being said, if you are one of these types, a response is not required from you. I do understand no one is perfect and that we all make mistakes (which is why Christians pray for forgiveness), but *choosing* to go out and sin...repeatedly...is a totally different story. So again, I ask those of you out there who actually live by your beliefs...Could you date someone who does not live to the standards that they claim to have?
