Okay... hair weave. Do we like it or not?

I'm thinking about getting a full hair weave put into my head before I go back to school. I'm a young lady mulato or howeva you spell it (it means mix black/white) I have good hair its past my shoulders and soft... but at the dorm I stay at the water is so hard that it is messing up my hair causing breakage and split ends like crazy... I just cut my hair real short earlier this year to avoid exactly this... so now,,, I'm considering gettin hair weave so my real hair doesn't get damaged any further...; but I'm wondering about what the opinions are on hair weave... like it or not? I like to be a very natural type of lady but now Im wondering... what do ya'll think about a lady with hair weave?
