Aren't lawyer legislators at the state level who practice law & make law simultaneously in clear violation of ?

Separation of Pwers refers tot he Powers across various branches,:legislative, executive, and Judicial. It has nothing at all to do with an individuals right, ability or obligation to perform civic service, regardless of profession.
