many of the freedoms we enjoy in a democracy do not exist in communist states. In pursuit of freedom, many communist residents flee to capitalistic countries regardless of their fear of execution or torture. Communist countries restrict the freedoms of speech, religion, press, and vote. In a capitalist nation, we live freely because we have all the freedoms mentioned previously. On the other hand, residents from communist countries are restricted from religion, speech, and vote. As a result, people have a hard time living under the ruthless communist government.
