What's this I hear about Sarah Palin resigning from office?

I doubt it's because she's running for President in 2010. She was just there for show. I know the real reason her son joined the Army is because he got arrested for cutting the brake line off someone's car. It was either that or go to jail. Her goombah daughter tried to teach abstinence, and I doubt anyone would ever listen to her. Abstinence does not work. Even Thomas Malthus stated that back during the Victorian Era. I heard a brief stint of her daughter's ex boyfriend explanation, but it wasn't very tangible. Knowing her, I suspect Sarah Palin is in big trouble, and she's trying to cover her trail. Her long track record of aerial wolf-hunting didn't go over too well. I also heard she might be going to jail for embezzlement, so that may be a contributing factor. Does anyone actually know why Caribou Barbie is resigning from office? Please don't tell me it's to become the first female President, either. I know for a fact that's not the reason.
