Kids don't want to join parents on vacation. Opinions?

I personally am 13 and I completely understand why your kids might want to stay home. Its not that I don' like trying new things, but I just am usually happy with how I am already. However, when I try something new, I usually get something out of it because I know if I like it or if I don't like it. I think you should take them with you and if they don't like it, go without them next year. They won't know until they've tried. They might regret it later when they hear about all of their friends going to the beach and they didn't. You'll never know until you try!
