Whats the law regarding car insurance.?

Can I drive someone elses uninsured car on my own fully comp insurance. My friend owns the car but is unable to drive and therefore hasnt got insurance, I have fully comp on my own car which is being repaired and want to borrow her car for 2 weeks, can I legally drive it on my ins.
